QUEEN’S FEAST: CHARLOTTE RESTAURANT WEEK®

The semi-annual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week® will return for its Summer 2012 outing from Friday, July 20, through Sunday, July 29. This summer’s promotion features a record 107 participating restaurants in seven counties [see full list below], with the updated website atwww.CharlotteRestaurantWeek.com going live Friday, June 29, listing the restaurants’ special Queen’s Feast® menus and reservation information. Diners can also stay abreast of Queen’s Feast info via www.Facebook.com/CharlotteRestaurantWeek and follow the promotion on Twitter @QueensFeast.
 
Charlotte Restaurant Week is a metro-area promotion during which numerous upscale restaurants offer a prix fixe, three-course (or more) dinner for $30 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Restaurants represented in the promotion stretch across many neighborhoods of Charlotte and around the area to Matthews; the Lake Norman area of northern Mecklenburg, Iredell, and Lincoln counties; Concord in Cabarrus County; Belmont and Gastonia in Gaston; Waxhaw in Union; and down to Fort Mill, SC, in York.
The previous Charlotte Restaurant Week in January 2012 generated approximately 120,000 dinners and an estimated economic impact of over $5.5 million in revenue for the 102 participating restaurants.
The Summer 2012 Queen’s Feast will feature over a dozen first-time restaurant participants, including 5Church, The Wooden Vine, e2 emeril’s eatery, and Levant Mediterranean Cuisine in uptown Charlotte; Blackthorne Restaurant & Bar in Ballantyne; Trattoria Antica in Waxhaw; Mezzanotte in Cotswold; and Yamato Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi in Denver, plus numerous others.

Additionally, some Queen’s Feast restaurants will again extend an exclusive offer to AAA members via the AAA Show Your Card & Save® program. Diners presenting a current AAA membership card while dining in those restaurants during Queen’s Feast will have the opportunity to purchase a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant for only $25. The gift certificate will not be redeemable during Queen’s Feast, and other restrictions may apply.
