Ella has quite literally been begging me forever to go to Nothing but Noodles and tonight… we finally made our way over there. We swung by Nothing but Noodles on our way to Best Buy to pick up a new cell charger due to Charlie – the pitbull puppy eating her last one.
The ordering went quick and the food came out just minutes later.
I got the Pad Thai Noodles for dinner, which is rice noodles tossed in a classic Thai sauce with bean sprouts, scallions, crushed peanuts and fried egg, garnished with fresh cilantro, a lime wedge and peanuts. The dish was surprisingly delicious and pretty filling, despite me not springing for the extra $2.50 for the addition of chicken. There was a small amount of heat from the Thai sauce and when paired with fresh cilantro and lime… you got an A+ dish in no time :)
Ella got the Basil Pesto, which had farfalle pasta tossed with fresh mushrooms, tomatoes and a basil pesto cream sauce, garnished with fresh basil and grated parmesan and romano cheese. The pasta had plenty of cheesy goodness but probably would have been better with chicken. Unfortunately we weren’t willing to fork out the extra $2.50 for chicken so we shall never know :)

Nothing but Noodles was pretty rocking.. but we hate the surcharge for meat. For $7 you get a pretty generous portion of noodles and deliciously fresh ingredients but no meat, WE WANT MEAT!!!
