Five Guys Burgers & Fries reigns supreme on the east coast for burger lovers and its easy to see why. We have been coming to Five Guys since the first one opened in Charlotte and it was love at first bite. There are countless creative possibilities for any burger connoisseur to make their own burger masterpiece. You pay one price and regardless of what topping you want… its still the same price. None of this up-charge bullshit that most places engage in for every topping you want more of.
When you go be sure to know that the sizes are deceiving.. a regular burger is a double and a little burger is a single. I rock a little burger every time I go and throw in a side of cajun fries to top it off. My burger masterpiece is comprised of:
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mayo
- Relish
- Grilled Onions
- Bbq Sauce
Its just big enough to leave room for some fries and fill you up in no time. The cajun fries are some of y favorite of any quick-service restaurant, mostly because you can actually taste a little bit of the cajun heat. Far too many places throw the “cajun” word on the menu and it ends up tasting like nothing. Don’t be afraid to order a regular size french fry if its you and a buddy.. they end up always giving you way more than fits in the little regular size cup.
If you’re on the west coast… In-n-out is the burger king but until they make it to the east coast Five Guys holds the crown. If you haven’t checked them out yet… stop reading and go eat a burger tonight!
