Chef Raab was one of my favorite teachers at Johnson and Wales University. She is also the owner of a beautifully quaint restaurant on Providence rd. called Fenwicks. The menu is simple but delicious. For years I visited Fenwicks with a friend every week and always got the same perfect meal. A cup of tomato soup, a grilled chicken sandwich and Key lime pie.
The soup is definetly my favorite part. It is thick and creamy and rich with tomato flavor. The grilled chicken sandwich is one of the best I have had. She marinates the chicken which makes it super moist and juicy and then covers it in gooey cheddar cheese. Key lime pie has got to be one of my favorite desserts and Chef Raab does it justice with fresh made whipped cream and raspberry sauce.
Fenwicks is a great spot for a quick lunch or a romantic dinner and Chef Raab is not only a wonderful teacher but the owner of a perfect little restaurant.
