I hit up Dave and Busters for the first time a couple weeks ago for my brothers 21st birthday. We were hanging with our dad for the night and despite the food not being incredible.. we still had a great time.
We started the night out with an app of nachos and for dinner I got the boss chicken club.
The nachos came topped with ground beef, melted queso, black beans, jalapenos, tomatoes, lettuce, fresh guacamole and sour cream. They weren’t the best nachos by far but anything with melted queso is good enough for me :) My boss chicken club sandwich ended up being less than stellar. It came with grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, a creamy garlic-herb cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado spread and frazzled onions, stacked on a toasted whole wheat bun served with seasoned french fries. The chicken was about as bland as possible and if not for all the toppings would have been nearly inedible. As for the fries… I think they might have got the recipe from McDonalds.
I can’t imagine anybody going to Dave and Busters for culinary masterpieces so I guess its no surprise that I thought the food was less than impressive. The only real appeal I saw was the ability to have a Chuck E Cheese available for adults. We spent the rest of the night playing round after round of pool and despite the subpar dining experience we still had a great night :)
