Big Daddy’s Burger Bar is now Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and it was amazing. The same people that own Mama Ricotta’s… Cantina 1511… and Paco’s Tacos… are the same that run Bad Daddy’s and in my mind they’ve got another hit on they’re hands. All of the burgers are made with beef that is 100% grass-fed, with NO hormones, NO antibiotics and NO artificial ingredients. They have an array of additional toppings to choose from and even allow you to substitute the beef for an array of other substitutes such as black bean, turkey, chicken, buffalo, etc…
I got the $8 chef-choice combo which was a huge burger, with fries and a soda. The burger was great and tasted as fresh as it gets. the fries were left skin on and dipped in the chipotle sauce made for a great side companion for any burger. The place has a great vibe to it and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be making this place a regular for me and recommend Big Daddy’s Burger Bar to anyone in or around the Ballantyne area looking for some great food.
Are you sure about the 100% grass-fed claim? I’d been looking at their menu and didn’t see any reference to it. So I called them, and they told me that it was not.
But I’ve seen a lot of people say that it is….
What’s the real story?
Hmmmm… good question. Its been a while since we’ve been but I know we wouldn’t have wrote it if we didn’t read it either on their menu or on their website. Maybe they’ve changed it since the last time we went, we’ll have to check it out.
