Big Daddy’s Burger Bar… Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.. whatever you want to call it, still delivers some amazing food. We went back to Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar last night to see what, if any, changes may have occured with the name change. Though the sign outside now says Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, the staff and the menu’s all still wear the original name of Big Daddy’s Burger Bar. Regardless of the name, the burgers are amazing! We went for dinner last night and we’re seated right away with a waitress not far behind to bring us drinks and take our order.
We both had big appitites for the night and salad just wasnt going to cut it, so we went with:
- Emilio’s Chicken Sandwich – Crispy bacon crusted chicken breast topped with guacamole, jalepeno bacon, onions, tomato, lettuce, mozzerella cheese and a pablano pepper mayo
- Basic Burger – 6oz Ground chuck topped with pablano pepper mayo, applewood smoked bacon, crispy onion straws, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and grilled pineapple
The wait wasnt long at all before we got our food but Ella was turning into a hungry monster right in front of me…

I couldn’t have been happier when the food arrived. Ella was nearly in full blown monster mode and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next. Anyways… the food got to the table and it looked amazing!
First lets talk about my burger…. yummy…. delicious…. juicy…. burger :) I had to go with the custom made basic burger because none of the pre-made burgers sounded half as good as what I was craving.
The pablano pepper mayo was delicious and added the perfect flavor and hint of heat that I so desperately crave in everything I eat.The bacon was as bacon is… delicious. The crispy onion straws with the grilled onions may sound like alot of onions… but in reality the crispy onion straws are just an excuse to get something fried on the burger and onion rings are too big. Best of all… the grilled pineapple, I dont know if there is anything in the world thats not made better with the addition of grilled pineapple.
I loved my burger and will probably end up getting the same exact thing everytime I go to Bad Daddy’s.
Ella got Emilio’s Chicken Sandwich and when it was first put in front of her the first thing she noticed was how big the chicken patty was… quite literally twice the size of the bun and hanging out the sides. The jalepeno bacon was good though the jalepeno flavor was so faint even she had a hard time tasting it. The guacamole also had a much smaller flavor on her sandwich than she was hoping for.
For the most part she liked the chicken sandwich but not enough to call it her favorite. Nonetheless she was starving and ate every last bite.
Though the name has changed the food has not. Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is still serving up amazing burgers and great service. If you haven’t been to Bad Daddy’s yet you need to go tonight!
